Augusta Country Club was founded in 1899 and was the first golf club established in Augusta, GA. Four gentlemen brought the game of golf to Augusta and now the city is an international hub for the sport. With its 18-hole Donald Ross re-designed golf course, Augusta Country Club winds through Augusta pines and Rae’s Creek. The club has also been the host site for six Georgia Amateur Championships and two Georgia Women’s Amateur Championship.
