The Atlanta Country Club was the home of the Atlanta Classic on the PGA Tour for 29 years (1967-1996). The club is located in Marietta, GA and was founded in 1964. The Chattahoochee River and Sope Creek wind through the property and are incorporated into the course design. Elevation changes and the surrounding Civil War history add to the course characteristics and make this track and fun, challenging, and historical course. Host of the 1994 Women’s Georgia Amateur Championship, the Atlanta Country Club has fairways lined with Georgia pines and oak trees. Over half the holes have water hazards. The bent grass greens and Bermuda fairways create an aesthetic and strategic course. One foursome with golf carts at Atlanta Country Club. Weekdays only. Contact club to schedule tee time. Expires 12/31/2022.
