The Atlanta Country Club was the home of the Atlanta Classic on the PGA Tour for 29 years (1967-1996). The club is located in Marietta, GA and was founded in 1964. The Chattahoochee River and Sope Creek wind through the property and are incorporated into the course design. Elevation changes and the surrounding Civil War history add to the course characteristics and make this track and fun, challenging, and historical course. Host of the 1994 Women’s Georgia Amateur Championship, the Atlanta Country Club has fairways lined with Georgia pines and oak trees. Over half the holes have water hazards. The bent grass greens and Bermuda fairways create an aesthetic and strategic course. Schedule with Scott Schroeder. Available July 1, 2024 - October 31, 2024. Tuesday – Thursday. Forecaddie is required and to be paid by winner at $60 per player, plus tip.

A note from GSGA Foundation: The GSGA Foundation Auction raises funds to support its Yates and Moncrief Scholarship Programs. For over 30 years, the Yates Scholarship Program has provided college grants to employees, and their dependents, at GSGA member clubs across the state. The Moncrief Scholarship Program honors deserving students in the field of agronomy and turf management at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, the University of Georgia, and students who work and live in Georgia but attend an accredited program outside of the state. We appreciate the support of all those who have generously donated rounds of golf for this auction. Additionally, the GSGA Foundation enriches the lives of others through the game of golf by increasing opportunities for individuals with physical, cognitive, and sensory disabilities to play golf through our Adaptive Golf Program, and growing affordable access to golf for thousands of juniors through Youth on Course Georgia. The GSGA Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable corporation and contributions are tax-deductible. For more information on the GSGA Foundation, visit https://www.gsga.org/foundation.
