Founded in 1956 and host site for the 100th playing of the Georgia Amateur Championship this July, the Cherokee Town and Country Club is known as one of America’s premiere private clubs. The North Course is one of two 18-hole courses on the property. Play the North Course as it follows along the Chattahoochee River. The club requires the group to play on Tuesday - Thursday with winning bidder responsible for cart and caddie fees.

A note from GSGA Foundation: The GSGA Foundation Auction raises funds to support its Yates and Moncrief Scholarship Programs. For over 30 years, the Yates Scholarship Program has provided college grants to employees, and their dependents, at GSGA member clubs across the state. The Moncrief Scholarship Program honors deserving students in the field of agronomy and turf management at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, the University of Georgia, and students who work and live in Georgia but attend an accredited program outside of the state.
