Founded in 1899, and one of 15 GSGA Founding Member Clubs, the Brunswick Country Club got its current name in 1920. It is located near the Atlantic Coast in Brunswick, GA. The course has been a part of the Golden Isles for nearly a century and was designed by Donald Ross. Brunswick Country Club is arguably one of the most authentic Donald Ross designs in America today. The club hosts the Golden Isles Invitational Tournament annually ever since its inaugural event in 1949. Brunswick Country Club has been the host of a Georgia Women’s Amateur Championship and the 2020 Georgia Mid-Amateur Championship as well as the 2014 Georgia Junior Championship.
